My first band! John and I started playing together around 1984. We began as two piece band and were one of the first bands to play at Walsh's Tavern in Warminster, PA which was to become a popular place for live music in the late 80's and 90's. We had our first gig at a friend's party after months of rehearsing at John's house learning classic rock covers, before classic rock was a word, and oldies by bands such as CCR, the Monkeey's, Buddy Holly, Bob Dylan, John Cougar, etc. We played a number of gigs as a two piece, I remember being nervous as hell playing Walsh's in front of all our friends in our first real official gig. Soon we knew we needed to add to the band and we added Brian Miller on drums. I have some great memories of John and I buying used PA equipment, we bought a pair of huge monitor speakers and I remember taking them apart at home and all these cockroaches came spilling out! I also remember playing gigs using parts of my home stereo equipment. Soon after Person 2 Person was to turn into Time Slyder with the addition of some more guys. This band was important for me because it gave me the confidence to play in front of people even though I was so nervous. The only thing left from these days are the picture below and the memories. There are no recordings "Thank God"! John and I remain close friend s and would join up again to open a rehearsal studio/music store called the Pick Up Joint, now called Ed's Music in Hatboro, and to play together in John's band Leap of Faith and in Heff n' Jay
