Time Slyder came to life as the result of adding new members to Person 2 Person. In 1986 we added John Pilawski on bass and Rick Hillman on guitar. At that point we changed the name to Time Slyder. I also switched to lead singer and also started playing keyboards. We had a lot of fun in this band and some really good shows mostly at Walsh's Tavern, we were almost the house band at one time. With the addition of John and Rick we were able to expand our repertoire and we started sounding a lot better. John was a fantastic bass player and a real madman. Rick added lead solos and some vocals on a number of tunes. Brian left first replaced momentarily by a guy named Frank Buck, I can't even remember if we played live with him. Soon after that John Heffren left and we started auditioned drummers and guitarists and were lucky to find a Paul Ebersol, a very talented drummer and Andy D'Angelo who had already been playing together in some other group. At this point we also stated to change the band from an oldies/classic rock band to a more modern rock/hard rock band. Rick left the group not happy with the musical direction and we decided to carry on with just Andy on guitar. At this point we change the name to Rage first and then changed it again to Outrage because there was a band using Rage at the time.
